The Productjury
The product jury is called the Assessment and Advisory Body and functions as a jury for products submitted. The Jury consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of five members, who can all recognise and assess the quality of products in the field of designing. The body advises the board on granting Trademarks. The Body pays attention to two main criteria:
- Is the product from the Eindhoven area or has it been designed by an Eindhoven designer elsewhere?
- Can the product meet the international quality requirements and can it be reproduced?
The assessment of products takes place in private meetings. The advice of the Body to the Board of the Foundation is secret. The Body meets as often as required, but at least twice a year. An applicant can write to the Board of the Foundation about the final decision of the Foundation.
